Megan O., Nicole B., and I (Jenna) have this tradition of Birthday Weekends, sometimes we have them for other special occasions (going away and such). Whenever one of us has a birthday the other two plan a secret weekend filled with fun. The Birthday Girl doesn't know anything. She just knows the dates and what to pack. This time was Megan's turn. Nicole and I have both had two weekends, and Megan has not had a single one! It was her eighteenth, so needless to say... we went all out!

We were going to spend the night again, but we were all pretty tired and had church the next morning.
Funny stories:
1. About 10 minutes before we got to the zoo we had Megan put a blanket on her head, so she wouldn't see where we were headed. Well, I was going 45 mph-ish down this road ( I wasn't speeding!! too much) and about 3 seconds before it happened.. I saw the speed hump. I yelled when I saw it.. a warning I guess you'd call it. We launched a little bit (please don't tell my dad). The girl with the blanket over her head in the back seat... well... you can imagine.
2. We have "birthday gear" (hat, sash, necklace, pin, tiara), but Megan was only required to wear the hat that weekend... the WHOLE weekend. She was really good about it. She even started keeping track of how many "Happy Brithday"s she got. 28
3. Before seeing "The Spiderwick Chronicles" Megan asked what it was about. eI explained it something like this: "It's about this spider who travels all around the universe with the wick of a candle. He lights it and it takes him where he wants to go." There were a few more details, but I can't remember all of them. Anywho.. she completely believed me :)
4. Megan couldn't figure out what mall we were in until we had been there for about 1.5 hours.
5. I lost track of how many candles Megan blew out and how many times people sang and said "Happy Birthday" to her, including her actual bday (Feb 7).
The picture aren't really in order, and these aren't even a fourth of all the ones we took. :)
